Aimee’s Magical 3 Night Adventure at Disneyland Paris

Aimee Kent from our St Austell branch recently had the opportunity to visit Disneyland Paris on a 3-night trip with the Walt Disney Travel Company.

From magical attractions and character experiences to spectacular fireworks and onsite hotel benefits, here’s Aimee’s guide to making the most of a Disneyland Paris holiday.

A Magical 3-Night Adventure at Disneyland Paris

“There are few places in the world that truly live up to the word “magical” – but Disneyland Paris is definitely one of them!

I recently had the incredible opportunity to spend 3 nights at Disneyland Paris, and from start to finish, it was an unforgettable experience packed with nostalgia, excitement, spectacular entertainment and plenty of Disney magic.

All Aboard the Magic Express

Our journey began at London St Pancras, travelling on the Eurostar to Paris Gare du Nord. The train journey was smooth, comfortable and completely stress-free, with no delays along the way.

From Paris, we took a coach transfer to Disney’s Hotel Cheyenne, which took around an hour and got us ready to dive straight into the magic.

Why Staying On-site is a Game Changer

We stayed at Hotel Cheyenne, a fun country-western themed hotel where even the restaurants and bars stay true to the theme. Guests can spot horses, meet beloved Disney characters such as Woody and Jessie, and enjoy a relaxed atmosphere after busy park days.

One of the biggest benefits of staying onsite is the Extra Magic Hour. Having access to the parks before regular opening time makes a huge difference. During this quieter period, popular attractions such as Big Thunder Mountain can have wait times of just a few minutes, leaving more time later in the day to enjoy other experiences.

The hotel is also within easy walking distance of the parks, which was particularly appreciated after the evening fireworks when transport became busy and tired feet started to kick in!

Make the Most of Your Time with Premier Access

If you’re considering a Disneyland Paris trip, Premier Access is something I would highly recommend.

With access to 19 attractions, ranging from family favourites to adrenaline-fuelled thrill rides, it allows you to spend less time queuing and more time enjoying the magic.

One of my favourite moments was revisiting childhood classics such as Peter Pan’s Flight without having to wait in a long queue. It made the experience even more enjoyable and helped us fit so much into our four-day park pass.

The Evening Shows Are Simply Unmissable

Disneyland Paris truly comes alive after dark.

We experienced private viewing for the fireworks, and it was worth every penny. Having plenty of space and an uninterrupted view made the experience far more enjoyable than standing in the crowded main viewing areas.

I would strongly recommend watching both evening spectaculars:

  • Disney Tales of Magic in Disneyland Park
  • Cascade of Lights in Adventure World

The combination of music, storytelling, projections, drones, lights and fireworks creates a breathtaking experience that captures the magic Disney is famous for.

Capture Every Memory with PhotoPass

Another fantastic addition was the Disney PhotoPass.

Having access to all our ride photos and character meet-and-greet pictures meant we could focus on enjoying the moment while still taking home incredible memories. At around £70 for the pass, it offers excellent value compared to purchasing individual photos separately.

For families or larger groups, sharing one PhotoPass can make it even more cost-effective.

More Than Just Theme Parks

One of the things I loved most about Disneyland Paris is that there’s truly something for everyone.

Whether you’re looking for action-packed days filled with rides, character experiences, shopping, delicious food, or a more relaxed break enjoying hotel facilities and pools, you’ll find it here.

Disneyland Paris isn’t just for children – it’s a destination where adults can reconnect with childhood memories while creating brand-new ones.

My Top Tip

If you’re planning a Disneyland Paris holiday, stay onsite. The convenience, Extra Magic Hour, easy access to the parks and immersive Disney atmosphere make a huge difference to the overall experience.
