Newell’s TRAVEL is named Best Performing Agent again.
What a month July has been for local Independent Travel Agents, Newell’s TRAVEL.
At the beginning of the month they not only scooped two “gongs” at the 11th annual Travel Brit Awards where more than 230 travel agents and tour operators celebrated at Warner Leisure Hotels’ Cricket St Thomas property in Somerset, but on 11th July they attended the prestigious AAA Awards at London’s Park Plaza Hotel and were honoured yet again with the South West England & South Wales – Travel Agency of the Year Award.
The Travel Brit Awards reward and recognise excellence in selling domestic holidays and husband and wife owners, Roger & Helen Hawke, won the ‘Outstanding Contribution Award’, while the Newmarket Holidays ‘Outstanding Agent Award’ went to Newell’s TRAVEL, Truro.
Roger Hawke said: “We are delighted that our Truro office has been named Newmarket’s champion store of the year for 2017. Newmarket offers us fantastic support and we enjoy selling their product.
On a personal level, Helen & I are humbled to have been presented with the ‘Outstanding Contribution Award’. We accept it on behalf of all of our staff who make our business the success that it is today”.
Newell’s TRAVEL has been acknowledged at the celebrated AAA Awards on many occasions and Roger Hawke said: “It is always an honour to be recognised by the nation’s leading tour operators. Our success is down to hard work, excellent professional staff and innovative thinking and our close working relationship with the country’s leading tour operators. It is an honour to be recognised by them at the AAA’s, the most prestigious in the whole travel industry”.
