I studied and passed a travel course at St Austell College and got my first industry job working for a small but independent company called Let’s Go Travel. This company is now known as Newell’s Travel.
The Newell’s Travel team were presented with many challenges over the years. Nevertheless, we are a very strong, dedicated, and determined team that always prides itself on our excellent service and our confidence to offer the most valuable travel choices.
I especially feel lucky to have worked alongside a lot of great people over the years as a Travel Consultant. For instance, I first met Lisa on my first day at Let’s Go Travel and she is now our manager. I have the experience and knowledge to create different types of travel arrangements – from short city breaks to UK holidays and even round-the-world itineraries.
Favourite destination:

Amsterdam, Barcelona, Croatia, Dubai, Florida, Gambia, Jersey, Lapland, Morocco, Portugal, South Africa, Spain, Turkey, Majorca, Zante.
Where next:
My to-do list is still quite extensive, just anywhere that involves wildlife and a culture that is unique to me. I would like to trek the Amazon one day too.
Favourite destination:
I get asked this all the time! I loved South Africa. It is such a diverse country and has a great mix of bustling cities and natural wildlife. The Gambia is also a very beautiful country. Their white beaches, kind people, and ongoing sunshine had amazed me.
Last holiday:
My last global trip was to Morocco where I had spent the night in the Sahara Desert.
