At Newell’s Travel, we know there’s no substitute for firsthand experience. That’s why Natasha Pellowe from our Newquay branch recently visited Disneyland Paris on a 3-night educational trip with DLP UK.
From travelling by Eurostar to staying onsite and experiencing the parks herself, Natasha returned with plenty of tips to help customers make the most of a Disney break.
Why Disneyland Paris Should Be on Your Holiday Wish List
“I recently returned from a fantastic 3-night trip to Disneyland Paris, and it’s easy to see why it’s one of Europe’s most popular family destinations.
Getting there couldn’t have been simpler. We travelled from London St Pancras by Eurostar to Paris Gare du Nord before continuing by coach to the resort. The journey was smooth, straightforward and a great way to start the trip.
Staying at Disney’s Hotel Cheyenne
For our stay, we checked into Disney’s Hotel Cheyenne, a fun Wild West-themed hotel just a short walk from the parks.
The Toy Story-themed rooms were comfortable and well-equipped, while the hotel’s location made it easy to pop back and forth throughout the day. There’s also a free shuttle service if you’d rather save your steps.
One of the biggest perks of staying onsite is Extra Magic Time, which gives Disney Hotel guests early access to selected attractions before the parks open to everyone else. It’s a great way to get ahead of the queues and fit more into your day.
Making the Most of the Magic
Disneyland Paris has something for everyone, whether you’re chasing thrills, meeting favourite characters, enjoying the entertainment or simply soaking up the atmosphere.
My number one tip is to download the Disneyland Paris app before you travel. It’s invaluable for checking wait times, finding your way around the parks, viewing show schedules and booking dining experiences.
If you’re looking to maximise your time, I’d also recommend:
- Booking dining reservations in advance
- Considering Premier Access for popular rides
- Reserving viewing areas for parades and shows
- Purchasing Disney PhotoPass to capture those special memories
Final Thoughts
The four days went by far too quickly, packed with attractions, entertainment and plenty of Disney magic.
Whether it’s your first visit or you’re returning for another adventure, Disneyland Paris offers unforgettable experiences for all ages. Having experienced it firsthand, I’m looking forward to helping customers plan their own magical getaway.”
