We are a friendly and knowledgeable team with nearly 100years of travel experience between us, Kathie joined Newell’s Travel Falmouth in 1994, her two stand out holiday experiences are a Safari in South Africa, the other was a Star Clipper cruise in the Med. She also loves city breaks or relaxing on a sun lounger on one of the Greek Islands. She is joined by Lisa who has been in the Falmouth office for 38 years. She loves holiday’s where she can see wildlife especially elephants, and trips where she can soak up the cultural experiences. Lisa has also cruised with many of the top cruise lines, her stand out trip though was in Canada where she was lucky enough to travel Gold Leaf on the Rocky Mountaineer. They are both Joined by Dave, who came to us 8 years ago with a background in Tour Operations and also as a holiday Rep. He enjoys taking his family to Florida or anywhere there is a theme park – he is our resident adrenaline junkie! He has a great overall knowledge of worldwide river cruising an touring. Ciara is our newest addition to the team: her area of expertise is South America and loves arranging detailed tailor-made itineraries. She has also travelled extensively in the Far East including Vietnam, Bali & Thailand.

Our new bigger office is situated at the Copperhouse end of Hayle, No. 49 Fore Street next to the Post Office.

We have a knowledgeable, friendly team with many years of travel experience between us. Kay has worked for Newell’s since 1986 and been with the Hayle office since its opening in 1991, she loves nothing more than exploring a city on a breakaway or relaxing on an exotic beach stay. She is joined by the lovely Dani who has many years of experience having worked in travel in the Midlands and she loves nothing more than an adventure having explored Thailand, Cambodia and Sri Lanka in recent years. We are delighted to be joined by the Lovely Lucy who has travelled literally around the World and in recent years to Peru, Uganda and Costa Rica. She’s experienced Escorted Tours, Solo Travel and Independent travel. Claire has a wealth of knowledge having travelled the World but is particularly knowledgeable on South Africa, Bali and Florida, she loves to explore new destinations with her young family. Lucy and Claire both compliment the Hayle Team’s wealth of knowledge.

Kate joined our team after relocating from Devon and has over 29 years’ of travel experience and has also travelled extensively. She started her career as a nanny which took her to live in France and Connecticut in the USA which sparked her love for travel. Kate has a great deal of knowledge on the USA, cruising, as well as the Caribbean. Her favourite destinations are Nepal, Cape Town and Venice and her favourite holiday was on a clipper sailing ship, she dreams of travelling to Costa Rica and Peru.

Karen joined Kate in our Helston office in January 2023 . She has found a love of cruising since joining the company and has subsequently enjoyed sailings on the fabulous Royal Caribbean’s Oasis of the Seas, Beautiful Celebrity Apex and Fred Olsen boutique ship Balmoral. The Island of Zante is her land-based holiday destination of choice, loving the Greek lifestyle. Her dream is to experience a Safari in Africa.

Nicola completed the Newell’s Travel Helston Team in August 2024, with a background in Foreign Exchange and a passion for travel.

Never one to visit the same place twice, Nic aims to explore as much of the globe as possible, soaking up the culture and ways of life of wherever she visits.

The Greek Islands are a firm favourite of Nic’s, with the likes of Costa Rica, Sri Lanka and Japan on her bucket list.

Redruth office first opened for business in 1987 on the corner of Fore Street and Green Lane. Due to the growth of the business within the office we moved to larger premises in Green Lane. Our staff in Redruth have a combined experience of over 45 years in the travel industry. Our Manager, Jenna, joined Newell’s TRAVEL straight from college, 18 years ago. Jenna is ably assisted by Tamsin who came to us with 20 years of travel knowledge, Alison who has moved back to Cornwall after several years away bringing 10 years experience with her and our newest member of the team is Tam, who has recently completed her in-house training after making a career change into travel & tourism after having her children.

All of the team pride themselves in helping with the most complex of itineraries, recommending and booking dream cruises, or finding the perfect holiday.
